The decision and responsibility on how to mount the ladder lies with the customer. Mounting to the wall is not possible for a drywall. The mandatory thickness of the wall in the case of installation using Fischer wall studs available from BenchK is 12 cm/4,7″. In other cases, it is only a recommendation.

For stud wall contruction houses, it is required to use BenchK WH1 wall holder for a wall bar to have it safely secured to the wall.
