Where BenchK fits
01

Alignment & controlled resistance

Rungs at calibrated heights support precise alignment work — wall-anchored teasers, supported roll-downs, controlled-load lunges. Instructors scale resistance through grip height and pull angle, and the same wall doubles as barre at every height.

02

Spinal decompression & mobility

Supported and unsupported hangs, inversion straps, overhead stretching at any rung. Standard equipment for Schroth-method scoliosis treatment worldwide, and used for between-session decompression in classical and contemporary studios.

03

Cable anchor & strap work

Clip a Recoil suspension trainer, resistance bands, or cable pulley to any rung. The studio becomes cable-enabled without a pulley tower or Cadillac — and the floor stays clear for mat work.

In their words
It became our most photographed wall. Clients book sessions just to use it — the cable anchor, the barre, the supported decompression. It does what three pieces of equipment used to.
Sarah Popkowski · Founder, Praxis Pilates NYC
  • 01Replaced a barre, a cable tower, and a decompression frame.
  • 02Cleared 14 sq ft of studio floor space.
  • 03Clients book repeat sessions for the wall-anchored sequences.
The system, demonstrated

Every modality your reformers don't cover, on one wall.

A short walk-through of the BenchK system: ladder for spinal mobility, pull-up bar for traction, dip station for press work, the integrated bench for supine series, and RECOIL cables for suspended footwork. The complement to your reformer line — installed once, never reconfigured.

Space-Saving Solution

A space-saving solution for Pilates studios.

Vertical training space your reformers can't give you. One wall expands what your studio teaches without taking floor area away from mat or apparatus work.

  • 016.5 ft of wall space — leaves the floor clear for mat and reformer
  • 02Replaces barre, cable tower, and decompression frame in one install
  • 03Bone-white and matte-black finishes match contemporary studio interiors
  • 04Modular attachment set tailored to your method (classical / contemporary / clinical)
  • 05Scales from a single signature wall to a multi-wall studio rollout

Used by Praxis Pilates NYC and a growing list of US studios — see the gallery above.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a wall bar or a Pilates wall unit?
Functionally, it's both — a Pilates-grade wall-mounted exercise station that works as a barre at every height, a cable and strap anchor, and a decompression frame. We use the term 'functional wall unit' inside the Pilates context because most Pilates studios already have the visual vocabulary for wall-mounted equipment (Cadillac, Tower, Springboard).
Will it complement my existing reformers and Cadillacs?
It's designed to. Studios typically position the BenchK along a long wall as the open-format mobility and stretching station — clients use it before and after reformer sessions, and instructors anchor cable and band work to it during class. It doesn't replace your reformer; it expands what one studio can teach.
What finishes match a contemporary Pilates aesthetic?
Bone white (warm off-white) and matte black are the two production colorways. Both are powder-coated steel paired with European beech rungs, hand-oiled three times. We specify them as architecture, not equipment — most studios choose the colorway to match their floor or signage.
How much wall space do I need?
About 6.5 feet wide and 7 feet tall for a Series 7 install. Series 1 is shorter (around 5'10" tall) and works in lower-ceiling rooms. We send a measure-up worksheet before quoting so you can confirm against your actual studio.
Do you offer install for studios?
Yes. We coordinate with your contractor or refer a vetted installer for studios that don't have one. Installs typically take 2–4 hours per wall — most studios schedule us alongside another build-out task.
What's the lead time for a multi-wall studio install?
Three to six weeks from quote to install for in-stock configurations. Custom colorways or larger multi-wall orders run 8–12 weeks. We hold your space in our Florida warehouse if you need to time the install with a renovation or grand opening.

One system. Multiple Pilates configurations.

From classical mat repertoire to contemporary apparatus-based programming, a single BenchK wall complements the rest of your studio and unlocks training your reformer can't reach.
