BenchK 700-series wall bars with pull-up bar and dip station in a showroom training space
Wall-mounted pull-up bars · the BenchK system

A pull-up bar that belongs on the wall.

Powder-coated steel bars that hook onto a BenchK wall bar — or, with the D8, straight onto a bare wall — and a dip station that hangs at any height. Rated for 330 lb, made in Poland, warranted for ten years.

Four pull-up bars and one dip station — pick by how you want it to mount.

01The category

Wall-mounted pull-up bars, explained.

A doorway bar does one thing, badly: it borrows the strength of a door frame it was never designed to test. A wall-mounted bar is the opposite — bolted or hooked to structure, so the rating on the box is the rating you train at. That is the difference between hanging for thirty seconds and hanging for a decade.

The BenchK version goes one step further. Because every bar hooks onto the rung ladder of a stall bar — or, with the D8, onto hooks at two heights — the same steel does double duty: a pull-up bar at the top, a barbell rest or dip station lower down, and the whole ladder beneath it for leg raises, stretching, and rehab.

02The four bars

Convertible, fixed, wooden — or hooked straight to the wall.

The PB3 convertible baris the one most people buy: four felt-lined hooks lock it onto any rung pair without marking the wood, six grip positions cover wide, neutral, and narrow pulls, and flipped 180° it becomes a barbell rest rated to 441 lb.

The PB2 fixed barbolts permanently to the top of a Series 2 or 7 frame — two height options at install, six non-slip grips, a 4 mm steel brace — for a station that never moves.

The D8 2-in-1 needs no wall bars at all: four included wall hooks at two heights, pull-up bar on the upper pair, dip bars with armrests and back support on the lower pair. One bare wall covers vertical pulling and pushing.

The wooden PB204 (light beech) and PB076 (oak-toned) rest on any rung pair of any BenchK frame — including the all-wood Series 1 — hand-oiled with food-grade linseed oil, sized for strap anchoring as well as direct hanging.

·Choosing yours

Which wall-mounted pull-up bar — and which dip station?

Start from the wall you have. A BenchK wall bar already on it (or on the way) opens up the rung-mounted bars; a bare wall points at the D8. Every steel piece comes in matte black or bone white and carries the ten-year metal warranty.

03Wall-mounted dip station

Pull-ups and dips belong on the same wall.

The DB1 dip station hooks onto the rungs at whatever height suits your shoulders — felt-lined hooks, no tools, lifts off in seconds. The armrests and back support are single-piece polyurethane: no foam to compress, no synthetic leather to tear. Four wear-resistant grips at the front double as push-up handles.

Pair it with the PB3 and you have the classic push-pull station — pull-ups and barbell rests up top, dips, leg raises, and knee raises below — on two studs’ worth of wall. That pairing, with the reversible bench, is exactly what the 733 full build ships as one box.

No wall bar? The D8 does both jobs from its own hooks: pull-up bar on the upper pair, dip station with armrests on the lower pair, 19¾ in off the wall for pull-ups and 31½ in as dip bars.

04Mounting

Rungs, bolts, or wall hooks.

Hooked onto the rungs. The PB3, the DB1, and both wooden bars carry hooks that drop over a rung pair — the steel ones felt-lined so they never mark the beech. Move them by hand, no tools, at any height the ladder offers.

Bolted to the frame. The PB2 fixes to the top of a Series 2 or 7 wall bar at install, with two height positions to choose from. Once it is on, it does not move — the right answer for a shared studio wall.

Hooked to the wall itself. The D8 ships with four wall hooks: two at pull-up height, two at dip height, anchored into studs or masonry. The unit lifts between them in seconds, so one bare wall becomes a two-station rig.

Wood studs, metal studs, and solid masonry all work; for stud walls under a full wall bar, BenchK’s wall-holder kit spreads the load across the studs. The installation guide covers wall types, spacing, and tools →

Wall-mounted pull-up bar FAQ

Can a BenchK pull-up bar mount directly to the wall?
One of them can: the D8 2-in-1 mounts straight to the wall on four included hooks set at two heights — on the upper hooks it's a pull-up bar, on the lower hooks it's a dip station with armrests and back support. The PB2, PB3, and wooden bars mount to a BenchK wall bar instead: the PB3, DB1, and wooden bars hook over the rungs, and the PB2 bolts to the top of the frame.
What's the difference between the PB2 and the PB3 pull-up bars?
The PB2 is the fixed bar — it bolts permanently to the top of a Series 2 or 7 wall bar, with two height options chosen at install, and carries six non-slip grips. The PB3 is the convertible bar — four felt-lined hooks lock it onto any rung pair, so it repositions at any height without tools, and flipped 180° it becomes a barbell rest rated for 441 lb.
How much weight do the bars hold?
The steel bars (PB2, PB3, D8) and the DB1 dip station are rated for a 330 lb (150 kg) user. The PB3 used as a barbell rest takes a 441 lb (200 kg) bar. The wooden PB204 and PB076 are rated for 265 lb (120 kg). All of them are certified to the EU gymnastic-equipment standards PN-EN 12346 and PN-EN 913.
Which pull-up bar fits Series 1 wooden wall bars?
The wooden bars — the light-beech PB204 and the oak-toned PB076 — rest on any rung pair of any BenchK wall bar, including the all-wood Series 1. The steel PB2, PB3, and DB1 dip station need the steel-framed Series 2 or Series 7 wall bars.
Is a wall-mounted pull-up bar better than a doorway bar?
A doorway bar is limited by the doorframe: it wobbles, it marks the trim, and its rating is the frame's, not the bar's. A wall-mounted bar is fixed to structure, rated for 330 lb, and stays put for kipping, weighted pull-ups, and strap work. Mounted on a BenchK wall bar it also gives you the whole rung ladder underneath for stretching, leg raises, dips, and bench work.
Can I do dips as well as pull-ups?
Yes, two ways. The DB1 dip station hooks onto the rungs at whatever height suits you, with integral polyurethane armrests and back support for dips, leg raises, and knee raises. The D8 2-in-1 moves from its upper hooks (pull-ups) to its lower hooks and becomes dip bars with the same armrests and back support.
How far does the bar stand off the wall?
The D8 sits 19¾ in (50 cm) from the wall in the pull-up position and 31½ in (80 cm) as dip bars. Rung-mounted bars sit just in front of the wall bar they hook onto; every product page lists exact dimensions and the clearance you need in front.
What kind of wall do I need?
Wood or metal studs and solid masonry both work. Wall bars bolt to the wall with the included hardware; for stud walls BenchK's wall-holder kit spreads the load across the studs. The D8's four hooks go into studs or masonry the same way. The installation guide covers wall types, spacing, and the tools you need.
